Delete your Papergold account

Delete in the app

The steps are the same on iPhone, iPad and Android.

1. Open your profile

   Tap More, then Profile. If you pinned Profile to the tab bar, tap it there.

2. Tap Delete account

   You find it in the Account section, below Sign out. You must be signed in.

3. Confirm

   Type your username, then tap Delete forever. This cannot be undone.

Delete on the web

1. Log in at web.papergold.app.
2. Open Profile.
3. Under Danger zone, click Delete account.
4. Confirm, then type DELETE when asked.

No access to the app? Ask us by email

Send an email to info@papergold.app from the email address of your account, with the subject Delete my Papergold account. We delete the account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Everything we store on our servers for your account:

• your profile, username and profile picture (the image file too, and its link stops working at once)
• your collections, cards and sealed products
• your lists and decks
• your friends and friend requests
• your trades (open trades are cancelled first)
• your daily value history and Cardmarket imports
• your share links, which stop working
• your Premium entitlement
• feedback you sent while signed in, and reports about profile pictures that involve you
• your sign-in (email and password, or Sign in with Apple, which we also revoke at Apple)

Cards stored only on your device stay there until you remove the app or clear its data.

What we keep

• Server backups: may still contain your data for the length of the backup window. It is not used and expires automatically.
• Anonymous feedback not linked to an account: deleted automatically after 12 months.
• Server logs at Cloudflare: kept briefly for technical reasons, then deleted automatically.
• Purchase records: Apple or Google keep them, not us. We never receive your payment data.
